Condition and Grade? Let Us Explain...
Not all surplus pumps and equipment were created equal. So use this handy guide and always know what you’re buying. There are four condition levels, each with A, B, or C grading scores:
Factory New
Brand new, purchased directly from original manufacturer.
New Surplus
Unused/Never placed in service. Overruns, liquidations etc.
Rebuilt
Torn down, cleaned, evaluated. Worn parts replaced, ready to go.
Used
Previously placed in service, shop inspected, guaranteed working.
Perfect, factory-fresh. Still new in box. Most times will include original factory warranty.
Near perfect, factory like new condition. Little to no shelf wear, or cosmetic issues. Flawless performance.
Perfect or near perfect, factory like-new condition. Fully restored to original (or better) factory tolerances and performance.
Excellent condition functionally and cosmetically, very light use and/or noticeable wear.

Excellent condition with light to moderate shelf wear or cosmetic issues. Flawless performance.
N/A
Good condition functionally but might have some cosmetic issues and visible wear from light to moderate use.

Good condition with moderate to heavy shelf wear. Might require very minor parts replacement or servicing.

This pump replaces the Viking® AL4125 internal gear pump. Performance, internal parts and dimensions. It is brand new from factory and comes with a 5-year warranty! Pump can be ordered with bronze or carbon graphite bushings, packed or mechanically sealed, and with or without relief valve.

Many of the pumps and parts we sell are surplus, rebuilt, aftermarket, used etc. but we’re no surplus or salvage yard! Every single item on this site has been closely evaluated by our shop team. We carefully measure tolerances and overall item quality to ensure performance and reliability.

Minimum 1-Year Warranty
Like we said above, we don’t sell junk. If it’s listed for sale on PumpRack.com, regardless of the condition or grade, we will provide a full parts and labor warranty for at least 1-year from the time of purchase. For Viking® aftermarket pumps and parts, we extend that to 2-years. And for our Rebuilt Pumps, we extend to 3-years!
We have a formal statement of warranty for easy download and printing, if you’re into that sort of thing.
